this is what is on the back of trombone lubricant.
before using slide-o-mix for the first time remove all traces of old lubricant from the inner slide. Clean the outer slide in the same manner using a cleaning rod or the slide-o-mix cleaning set. If you have previously lubricated your slide with a cream or grease you will probably find that traces of hardened grease remain even after cleaning. This residue can cause the slide to stick but will be reduced more and more by a repetition of the cleaning process. DONT GIVE UP!. You may find that your slide gives better results after a second application of slide-o-mix or that different proportions of the two compononts will give a smoother action.
sorry but when you have been sitting in an office all day you do find the most stupid things hilarious !

it must be an office thing- the other day at work i found a pack of elastic bands that said 'gummibander' on the front and i found that strangely funny..its always a bit worrying what a closed environment does to your sanity but why were you reading a packet of trombone lubricant would be a good question?
